BYESVILLE, Ohio -- In the 40th meeting between rivals, the Cambridge Bobcats notched a decisive victory over the Meadowbrook Colts, 50-12, on Friday night.
The 'Cats made their presence known early in the first quarter and never gave up the lead. Leading Cambridge was Jacob Schubert, who rushed for 147 yards and scored three touchdowns. Mo Latham had 114 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, while Ivan Gadson contributed 116 yards and two touchdowns. The Bobcats racked up 417 total yards, 393 of which were rushing.
Colts QB Dalton Wiggins was 10 for 18 with a touchdown pass, but was sacked six times over the course of the night. Clay Lapp made a two-yard run for a touchdown to contribute to Meadowbrook's 199 total yards.
With the victory, Cambridge finished their season 5-5. Meadowbrook closed the season with a 7-3 record.
