CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- A Texas man was injured after flipping his vehicle in Guernsey County early Sunday morning.
The Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Brian Pippen was traveling southbound on Byesville Road, near the Three Bridges area, at around 2:50am when he failed to negotiate a left-hand turn. Reports show the Pippen's GMC Sierra flipped and came to rest on its side, and that the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and no other injuries were reported.
He was first transported to Southeastern Med by United Ambulance with undisclosed injuries, then transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
No charges have been filed, but alcohol and excessive speed are suspected to be factors in the accident.
