A fugitive from Byesville, charged in connection with the manufacture of methamphetamine in Guernsey County, has been taken into custody.
According to Guernsey County Sheriff's Captain Jeff Paden, 45-year-old Bruce A. Miller was arrested on a felony warrant on Friday in Toledo and is now in custody in the Guernsey County Jail. Miller was indicted by a grand jury on charges of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs (F3), and possessing criminal tools (F5). Reports indicate that both the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office and the Byesville Police executed a search warrant at Miller's South 5th Street residence in Byesville, reportedly locating a meth lab on May 6th. The Washington County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Task Force had to be called in to neutralize the hazardous materials created by the alleged operation.
Miller's wife, 41-year-old Samantha Miller, was arrested at the scene and is facing similar charges.
